EffJohn planned an extensive FINNJET renovation and lenghtening to 238,5m. It was planned to make the B-cabins bigger, build in additional luxus cabins in the front of the ship, a swimming pool in the stern area, and new, bigger shopping possibilities. The total costs would have been about 100 Million Deutsch Marks (DEM). The huge renovation was not realized because of lack of money.
